new blog? fashion democracy!
i have many online obsessions but one that never seems to go away is my fascination with fashion. i think fashion can be one of the most accesible examples of cutting-edge creativity. and, that is a big CAN BE because it obviously is not yet what it could be. but, access to fashion for a variety of body and wallet sizes is expanding. its just not happening fast enough.

Barack LOVE in the Chi
I just experienced living in the same city as President-Elect Obama, for realz! I was walking back to the Fair Housing Clinic when the police sirens started buzzing and they cleared jackson from dearborn east to Michigan. And then I saw the shiny black SUVs. Those were not ordinary SUVs! They were Obamabiles! Everyone in the street was buzzing from excitement, phones out, ready to grab a photo....
